The Center for the Study of Rationality and Beliefs (CSRB) is a unit of scientific research within the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest. CSRB is located in the Faculty of Philosophy, Splaiul Independenţei 204, Sector 6, postcode 060024, Bucharest.

Head of the CSRB is Prof dr. Romulus Brancoveanu.

CSRC elaborates and implements research and development projects, from which we mention Reason and Beliefs. Rationality, Public Reason and Education within a Multicultural Society. This project is financed within the framework of the national plan of research, development and innovation, PN II IDEI, CNCSIS 951 code.

CSRC releases the journal Public Reason, where are published articles from all fields of political philosophy and ethics. The journal is intended for the international philosophical community, as well as for a broader public interested in political and moral philosophy. It aims to promote philosophical exchanges with a special emphasis on issues in, and discussions on the Eastern European space.

CSRB organizes national and international conferences.

CSRB is open to any proposal of partnership concerning academic projects such as workshops, conferences, anthologies, translations etc.
